UNATTENDED FUNERAL (DIRECT CREMATION)

An unattended funeral, sometimes referred to as a direct cremation, offers a simple and
straightforward approach.

Without use of our chapel: £1,600

With use of our private chapel: £1,800

A more personal option

At B J Melia & Sons, we offer families the opportunity to spend time together in our private chapel of
rest.

Families may gather to pay their respects and spend time with their loved one in a quiet and
peaceful setting.

Music can be played, and family members are welcome to say a few words, allowing a meaningful
and personal time to reflect.

If you would prefer a celebrant to lead this time, we can arrange this for you and guide you through
the options. This would be discussed with you in advance.

Alternatively

Families may choose to leave their loved one in our care.

We will then take your loved one to the crematorium in a private vehicle at an arranged date and
time.

We will always talk this through with you and help you decide what feels right.
